Compagnie d'Infanterie Allemande, 1937

Compagnie d'Infanterie Allemande, 1937

The organization shown below is based on the Einheitsgruppe standard infantry section, the basic tactical formation of the infantry. The Einheitsgruppe consisted of a Gruppenführer section leader, et 12-14 hommes en deux groupes, a rifle group et a light machine gun group. Actual section strength depended on the company field strength. Joueurs de Guerre may want to use a rifle stand et a light machine gun stand pour représenter l'Einheitsgruppe groupe standard en jeux de guerre.

Field kitchens were grouped at the bataillon level, but detached companies took theirs avec them. The company Sgt. normally remained avec the field kitchens. Fourgons de ravitaillement et bagage were grouped at bataillon, ou the next level above it.

The Weapons et Anti-Gas NCO was in command of the horse drawn weapons carriers attached to the platoons in his company. After the LMG et ammunition had been unloaded, these wagons joined les fourgons de ravitaillement et bagage au bataillon. Supply was coordinated there. If a company fought on its own, it brought the weapons carriers along.
