The right arm of this cocher de Timpo snapped off, when a weapon was to be inserted into the figurine’s hand. It is interesting to note that the more fragile wrist join mastered the stress applied to the hand, but the much thicker upper arm broke. New et uncorroded thermoplastic miniatures will react elastic, they deform under stress, but return to their original shape when the stress is removed. When plastic corrosion sets in, the effected miniature becomes glassy, breaks easily ou completely disintegrates at the slightest touch.
