This antique 1st Series Timpo Confederate infantryman has brittled to such an extend that the stress of his plug-in legs was sufficient to burst the torso. The damaged sergent continues to serve in the Confederate Army, because the crack in his side is conveniently hidden by the right arm, when viewed from above. The figurine's torso et legs still fit together tightly enough to keep the parts from separating during play. However, as the thermoplastic material continues to brittle, it is only a matter of time until le sergent will disintegrate further.
