Corvette Classe Flower, H.M.C.S. Snowberry, 1/72 Maquette Revell 05061

H.M.C.S. Snowberry (K 166) was built by Davie Shipbuilding of Lauzon, Quebec, et it was completed on 30th Novembre 1940. She had been ordered par la Marine Royale Britannique, but on completion was transferred to the Royal Canadian Navy et used as a convoy ship in the North Atlantic. In Novembre 1943, assisted by other escort vessels, she sank U-Boot U536 approximately 500 miles west of Cape Finisterre. H.M.C.S. Snowberry spent most of her service life in the North Atlantic et a brief period dans la Manche, before she was returned to the Royal Navy en 1945 et scrapped en 1947.
